MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting various outbound and operational marketing activities.
Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for various Marcom activities, assisting the VP of Marketing in communicating the Companys' messages and representing its products to the outside world.
- Creating marketing messages;
- Web site update and maintenance, search engine marketing;
- Support PR agency, create press releases and marketing literature;
- Sales report generation, leads management;
- Data analysis and report creation;
- Customer survey, competitive analysis;
- Create presentations for external audiences;
- Tradeshow organization, coordination and management;
- Develop marketing campaigns, coordinate tech writers, maintain marketing calendar; and
- Support VP of marketing and product managers with outbound marketing activities.
Skill Requirements
Required:
- 5 years experience in a marketing communications position;
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required;
- Experience with creating, maintaining websites;
- Highly organized with very strong Marcom skills;
- Experience in high tech industry involving hard ware products, preferred;
- Proven ability to handle diverse responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is a must to be successful in this position;
- Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details;
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills;
- Adept at planning, creativity and problem solving;
- Experience with International customers/partners preferred;
- Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office Products; and
- Travel to tradeshows 2-3 times a year.
