Segmented Prototype Kits
E Ink is offering four Dialog Semiconductor Segmented Developer's Kits, featuring fully optimized segmented driver ICs by Dialog Semiconductors, with an example E Ink Segmented Display. The kits offer a full hardware and software development environment to allow for fast prototyping, system design and device evaluation. The family of kits offered are 64, 96, 192 and 256 segments, for a wide range of applications.
The Dialog kit can be controlled via a USB interface connected to a PC or directly to a microcontroller as part of a larger development environment. A range of interfaces are also available to allow connection to different display. Also provided is a comprehensive Windows based evaluation and development softwware environment. This allows a designer to import a bitmap display image to enable rapid development using a full graphical user interface.
The kit contains:
- Development board with supported driver;
- E Ink demo display;
- Clamp for attaching E Ink display;
- USB lead;
- Supported software (CD) including user guides and app notes from both Dialog and E Ink;
- E Ink demo display attachment app note.
