Cambridge, MA. - March 28, 2001 – E Ink Corporation, the leading developer and marketer of electronic ink technology, today announced that Russ Wilcox, vice president, general manager and co-founder, will speak at Seybold Seminars Boston 2001 Conference and Exposition. Wilcox will participate in a panel discussion about the impact of next generation display technologies on the publishing industry. Specifically, Wilcox will discuss how electronic ink dramatically improves screen definition and power requirements, resulting in lighter, easier to read displays that will revolutionize smart handheld devices such as personal digital assistants (PDAs) and electronic books.

The Next-Generation Display Technologies panel, which is part of the Publishing Strategies Conference, will be held April 11, from 1-2:30 p.m., at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Mass. The panel will be moderated by Chris Murphy, president of Color Remedies, and will also include Gene Miceli, president of Kent Displays, and Mark Fihn, vice president of DisplaySearch.

About the Next-Generation Display Technologies Panel
The notion of accessing the Web primarily through dedicated PCs will soon seem quaint, as cell phones and other handheld devices mutate into indispensable real-time information appliances. But for this to happen, display screens must become lighter, faster, more flexible, more interactive, cheaper and more colorful. Fortunately, new display technologies with these features are just coming to market. This session will provide a snapshot of this emerging field, highlighting the most important new technologies, products and applications.
