E INK TO FEATURE THE VALUE OF READING IN EDUCATION DURING ANNUAL FPD INTERNATIONAL
Company to Feature Innovative Applications of Electronic Paper in Exhibit
Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 26, 2011 – E Ink® Holdings, the world's leading supplier of electronic paper (ePaper), announced today that E Ink will participate in FPD International 2011 in Yokohama from 26 to 28 October in Booth No.: 6506. E Ink will be showcasing a variety of ePaper displays for educational settings, as well as other innovative applications.

"In this year's exhibition, E Ink highlights our innovation, and applies ePaper to the education market and showcases conceptualized interactive teaching environments. In addition, E Ink demonstrates a variety of other products to show the future of ePaper applications."
The education market is the main focus of this year's FPD exhibition. E Ink will showcase four settings to illustrate the innovation and latest developments of ePaper technology and how it can be integrated into a learning environment. Several eTextbook devices, including the Ectaco Jetbook Color, Hanvon e.pbooks C920 and the Plastic Logic 100, will be available for viewing. Both the Ectaco and Hanvon devices feature E Ink Triton™, which won the 2011 SID Display of the Year Gold award, and the 2011 Wall Street Journal Innovation Award for Consumer Electronics Category.
E Ink will also showcase products currently in mass production, such as the latest eReaders, including the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook Touch, Kobo Touch, Sony Reader Wi-Fi, and Hanvon e.pbooks E920, and many non-eReader applications, such as watches, USB drives and cell phones.
In addition, E Ink will preview a new ePaper sign which incorporates the Company's segmented SURF display. This display will utilize the reflectivity of ePaper in a low and high ambient environment. E Ink will also showcase the 300dpi ePaper display module driven by Epson's latest display controller, which is intended for eDocument applications.
