E INK HOLDINGS LAUNCHES CHINESE WEBSITE

Hsinchu, Taiwan – July 11, 2011 – E Ink® Holdings announced today the launch of it's official Chinese website, http://tw.eink.com. E Ink recently unveiled a new logo and corporate identity, and the new website will continue to build brand awareness of E Ink in Asia.

Scott Liu, chairman of E Ink Holdings, said: "The launch of the E Ink Chinese website is specifically for the Greater China audience. The new site will help educate our Chinese-speaking customers about our products, technologies, and innovative applications and will continue to build on our commitment to innovation, emerging markets and the environment. "

"We are committed to building E Ink's corporate identity, and recognition of the E Ink brand. The new site will enable greater understanding of our products and technology, and will establish a global information platform." said Mr. Sriram Peruvemba, Chief Marketing Officer for E Ink Holdings.

In addition to the introduction of E Ink technology and products, the E Ink website highlights the three key benefits of electronic paper displays from E Ink─displays that are Readable, Rugged, and Green. The "customer showcase" (http://www.eink.com/customer_showcase.html) introduces products using electronic paper displays developed by E Ink's customers and partners. The "concept showcase" (http://www.eink.com/concept_showcase.html) introduces innovative future products using E Ink's displays, developed by E Ink and leading design companies. These include an electronic music stand "Rosie", an interactive snowboard and an electronic cutting board.

In 2011 E Ink Holdings has won a number of awards, including:

  • The 2011 Techworld Startup/Blue Skies Award Product of the Year from Techworld
  • The SID 2011 Display of the Year Award for Triton electronic paper;
  • Together with Corey McPherson Nash of Massachusetts, the prestigious AIGA BoNE (American Institute of Graphic Arts, Best of New England) award for the E Ink Triton video design;
  • The FLEXI Award from FlexTech Alliance for significant accomplishments in R&D, innovative product development, and leadership in education within the flexible, printed electronics and displays industries.
