E INK HOLDINGS WINS 2011 TECHWORLD AWARD

E Ink Pearl™ Display Offers the Best Reading Experience

London, UK – July 4, 2011 – E Ink® Holdings, the leader in electronic paper display technologies, today announced that the company won the Blue Skies / Product of the Year award in the prestigious Techworld Event, in London on June 29, 2011.

The Techworld Awards are one of the industry's longest standing awards programs. Recognizing both products and users, the Techworld Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the industry. This year, the panel of judges was composed of Techworld editors and respected industry experts from across the technology sector. The winners were carefully selected from among hundreds of entries based on criteria including technical excellence, innovation and value. E Ink was selected as the winner of the Blue Skies / Product of the Year Award for their Pearl display, and recognized as the core technology behind electronic paper.

  • The SID 2011 Display of the Year Award for Triton electronic paper;
  • Together with Corey McPherson Nash of Massachusetts, the prestigious AIGA BoNE (American Institute of Graphic Arts, Best of New England) award for the E Ink Triton video design;
  • The FLEXI Award from FlexTech Alliance for significant accomplishments in R&D, innovative product development, and leadership in education within the flexible, printed electronics and displays industries.
